Going Potty

Managed to find an old, broken lobster pot washed up on the rocks last night whilst taking part in a local beach clean. Hoping to use it to create some surf weathered rope for making rope bowls like the one below.

It's unbelieveable how much rubbish there is in the sea - and not all of it natural. Between us, we cleaned a mile stretch of beach and collected over 25 bags of rubbish including plastic bottles, fishing line and disposable bbq's. Someone even managed to find a car wheel - that's a whole wheel, not just the tyre!

I wish people would remember that the sea is not a free dumping ground.
